Katarina Witt was born the 3rd of December in Staaken East Germany. While she is always looking for new opportunities, Katarina Witt discovers new work areas and acquires knowledge in diverse disciplines like production and figure skating. Following 1998's World Championships Katarina Witt ends her highly successful career as an amateur at present. In the next three years she will be co-headlining her first professional appearance in Canada and USA with World Champion Brian Boitano. The show's success is such that the show, "Witt and Boitano Skating" which means that Madison Square Garden is now fully booked for the very premiere figure skating show at Madison Square Garden in New York in 10 years. 1993-94 saw her return to an amateur sports and enters the competitive limelight to participate in her third appearance as a competitor at the Olympic Games in Lillehammer in 1994. In the following 10 years, she travels North America on the star of "Champions on Ice","Champions On Ice, "Stars on Ice","Stars on Ice, "Champions on Ice Tour" as well as various other shows featuring figure skating. In addition, she competes in a variety of professional international events. She is the driving force behind many ice productions around the world. She creates them, writes the headlines, and produces them via her company, WITH WITT. It sets new standards for the world of skating, and produces live event shows such as "Divas on Ice", "Katarina & Friends", "Enjoy the Stars" as well as "Winter The Magic" for US and German television.
